That's me, Sarah, in the picture with some of my fabric hearts. I have to confess, I do love to make these pretty hearts, so you will find lots of them in my shop in a wonderous range of colours.
I have been sewing for a loooong time! For me, sewing is the perfect way to release my inner creativeness, whether that is dreaming up a new decoration for your home, putting together a patchwork throw, making a pretty line of bunting or creating another bespoke bag. The joy for me though becomes extra special when someone chooses to buy one of my items, that thrill of someone having one of my handcrafted pieces in their home or bought for a gift, never gets dull.
I live in a semi-rural part of Lincolnshire in England where there are lots of fields nearby and I enjoy getting out and about with my husband and two doggies. The countryside can be very inspirational with the changing colours of the seasons and all the different flowers (and weeds!).
I do and have made special requests, including some sweet lavender bags (with lavender picked and dried by me from my garden) that were used as Bridal favors, hearts for bridesmaids along with bunting in special sizes or colours, so if there is something that you would like to ask me about, please do not hesitate to pop me an email over.
With the encouragement and help of my husband (he is the technical one!), I opened up my Etsy shop, to have an outlet for my collection of makes. I do my very best to ensure that my prices are as low as possible, as you will see when you click the shop button. I do only post out to the UK for the time being.
